New corrugating rolls

TALLERES AMERICA manufactures corrugating rolls out of solid blocks of special steel alloys. All journals are premachined and pressure assembled before being welded by our certified operators.

In this step of our manufacturing process the rolls are subject of stress relief operations and a series of quality control, dimensional verifications and hardness tests.

Our state of the art machinery, creep-feed grinders designed specially for cutting precise flute profiles guarantee quality and perfect performance of the rolls. This machinery make a significant cut in grinding time which enables us to have the best delivering timing for our customers.

The quality control department verifies that all of our rolls meet all requirements for optimum performance. Linearity, eccentricity, flute cut quality and crowning are some parameters that are lead to strict tolerances. Dimensional verifications are made before and after coating or hardening.

Before we deliver the rolls to our customers, we proceed to make a simulation of the working conditions to check for perfect performance. This operational test includes carbon prints as a graphic verification of precision flute cut.
