History
TALLERES AMERICA
, S.A was founded in 1960. Since its origins we’ve been committed
to satisfy the needs the industry encounter supplying all kind of
machining parts.
Our company
invested in technology due to the demands of our clients in the
different industrial sectors and our vision to offer a better service
to them. In few years TALLERES AMERICA was a complete machine shop
with a wide range of equipment. Six meter between center lathes,
boring machines, milling machines, planers, drilling machines, grinders,
as well as a range of welding equipment, which gave us the opportunity
to machine and assemble many mechanical parts for clients like:
Fundidora de Monterrey, Altos Hornos, HYLSA and other important
companies.
We manufactured
overhead cranes for local companies and in 1975 founded BENGO INTERNACIONAL,
S.A. We have more than 30 years supplying hoisting devices for companies
in different sectors of the industry. Our cranes are fabricated
under strict quality control and we stock parts for next-day deliveries
for our clients.
TALLERES AMERICA
made it’s incorporation into the corrugated
box industry in 1982. The Langston Company and the Villarreal
family made a joint venture creating LANGSTON AMERICA, S.A.
de C.V. and started to fabricate the first corrugating
rolls ever done in our country. Years later, TALLERES AMERICA acquires
all corrugating roll grinders from Langston’s facility in
Great Britain. And it was until 2000 with
the closure of THE LANGSTON COMPANY in the United
States that we acquire all equipment for the manufacturing
of corrugating rolls. All this equipment, including state
of the art creep-feed grinders were sent to our facility and since
2003 are running in our plant offering our service with the manufacture
and rebuilding of corrugating rolls and pressure rolls for all types
of single facers.
